Hey everybody this is One Slat with some news about this years event. 1st Bring your dancing shoes! We will be having a Square Dance on Friday March 27th at 7 p.m. It will be held at the event site, unless there is inclement weather, it will be held at the Madison County Farm Supply just north of the event site. Music will be provided by the Bruce Punches and Arlington Family band. This Dance is Free to the public and reenactors alike. This year we are trying to help the Madison County Food Pantry so donations of canned goods would be greatly appreciated.
2nd The Award Winning Bruce Punches and the Arlington Family will also be playing at the Opening Ceremony and just after kicking off this years event with an awesome display of Bluegrass music.
The Opening Ceremony starts at 9:00 a.m.
